I can’t wait to share with you more of these pictures that really capture my son.
He’s my oldest and he’s a helper bee – to the max. Loves sweeping the floors, cooking with me, making cereal for his brother, folding laundry, changing light bulbs with his Dad, fixing broken toys and the list goes on. When he gets older and wonders that he was like as a child I will describe him as a helper bee.
You know what’s even better? I will have these pictures to show him!
Now, if you’re thinking this could never happen in my kitchen let me reassure you! Yes, it can! About 80% of the ingredients were already in the bowl before he even woke up for the day (because let’s get real: at 2 my helper bee can’t pour flour!) but he is still able to help and enjoy the experience. So, lifestyle sessions aren’t staged but they are well thought out while still working to capture your little ones.
It’s especially important to capture the awful 15 minute wait for his cinnamon muffins to bake!
Something he really enjoyed doing was coating the top of each muffin with brown sugar and cinnamon. Are you wondering how they tasted… wait no more. Take a look!
Good to the last crumb…
